Antihydral^® Salbe Pflichttext

Active Ingredient:
Methenamine.

Composition:
100 g of ointment contains 13 g methenamine.
Other ingredients: talc, purified water, zinc oxide, white clay, glycerol 85%, sodium carmellose (Ph. Eur.), eucalyptus oil.

Indications

Antihydral® white ointment is intended for application to the skin and is used for excessive sweating, especially of the feet, hands, and underarms.

Contraindications

Antihydral® Ointment must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to formaldehyde or any of the other ingredients.

Antihydral® Ointment must not be applied to weeping skin areas or skin affected by blisters.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Antihydral® Ointment should not be applied to the breast during breastfeeding.

Side Effects

In rare cases, methenamine may cause skin irritation or hypersensitivity reactions when applied externally.

People with a contact allergy to formaldehyde may develop eczema or skin rashes.

Dosage

Apply a thin layer of Antihydral® Ointment once or twice daily and allow it to dry.

After a few days, sweating usually decreases, and Antihydral® can then be used individually at longer intervals.
